Romans 9:22-24

What if God, although choosing to show his wrath and make his power known, bore with great patience the objects of his wrath--prepared for destruction? What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory--even us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles?

Romans 2:4  Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

2 Peter 3:15  Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.

prepared for destruction 

Proverbs 16:4  The LORD works out everything to its proper end--even the wicked for a day of disaster.

2 Chronicles 34:24-25  " 'This is what the LORD says: I am going to bring disaster on this place and its people--all the curses written in the book that has been read in the presence of the king of Judah. Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and aroused my anger by all their hands have made, my anger will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.' "

What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy 

Romans 11:33  Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, his paths beyond tracing out!

Ephesians 2:6-7  And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.

whom he prepared in advance for glory 

Romans 8:30  And those he predestined, he also called; and those he called, he also justified; and those he justified, he also glorified.

even us, whom he also called 

Romans 8:28  And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

not only from the Jews but also from the Gentiles 

Romans 3:29-30  Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes of Gentiles too, since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith.
