But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?" Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. But I ask" Did they not hear? Of course they did: "Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."
But not all the Israelites accepted the good news
Hebrews 4:2 Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to be fallen short of it. For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us just as they did; (Numbers 14) but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.
For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?"
Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
John 12:37-38 Even after Jesus had performed so many signs in their presence, they still would not believe in him. This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet: "Lord, who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?"
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message
Galatians 3:2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what you heard?
Galatians 3:5 So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?
and the message is heard through the word about Christ
Colossians 3:16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.
