John 20:19-20 Part 1 of 2

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.

John 7:13  But no one would say anything publicly about him for  fear of the leaders.
John 9:22  His parents said this because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders, who already had decided that anyone who acknowledged that Jesus was the Messiah would be put out of the synagogue. 
John 12:42-43  Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him but because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue; for they loved human praise more than praise from God. 
John 19:38  Later, Joseph of Arimathea asked Pilate for the body of Jesus. Now Joseph was a disciple of Jesus, but secretly because he feared the Jewish leaders. With Pilate's permission, he came and took the body away.

Luke 24:36  While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." 
John 16:33  "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
Philippians 4:7  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
