John 19:28-30 Part 1 of 2

Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

John 19:30  When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
John 13:1  It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." 
John 19:24  "Let's not tear it," they said to one another. "Let's decide by lot who will get it." This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, "They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment." [Psalm 22:18] So this is what the soldiers did.
John 19:36-37  These things happened so that the scriptures would be fulfilled: "Not one of his bones will be broken," [Exodus 12:46; Numbers 9:12; Psalm 34:20] and, as another scripture says, "They will look on the one they have pierced." [Zechariah 12:10]
Matthew 1:22-23  All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son and they will call him Immanuel" [Isaiah 7:14] (which means "God with us").
