Psalm 68:17-18

The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands; the LORD has come from Sinai into his sanctuary. When you ascended on high, you took many captives; you received gifts from people, even from the rebellious--that you, LORD God, might dwell there.

The chariots of God
2 Kings 2:11  As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.
Isaiah 66:15  See, the LORD is coming with fire and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Habakkuk 3:8  Were you angry with the rivers, LORD? Was your wrath against the streams? Did you rage against the sea when you rode your horses and your chariots to victory?

are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands
Daniel 7:9-10  "As I looked, thrones were set in place, and the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow; the hair of his head was white like wool. His throne was flaming with fire, and its wheels were all ablaze. A river of fire was flowing, coming out from before him. Thousands upon thousands attended him; ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated, and the books were opened."

When you ascended
Psalm 47:5  God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD amid the sounding of trumpets.

on high
Psalm 7:7  Let the assembled peoples gather around you, while you sit enthroned over them on high.

you took many captives
Judges 5:12  " 'Wake up, wake up, Deborah! Wake up, wake up, break out in song! Arise, Barak! Take captive your captives, son of Ahinoam.' "

you received gifts from people
Ephesians 4:7-8  But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people." (Psalm 68:18)

even from the rebellious
Numbers 17:10  The LORD said to Moses, "Put back Aaron's staff in front of the ark of the covenant law, to be kept as a sign to the rebellious. This will put an end to their grumbling against me, so that they will not die."
