Romans 3:27-28 Part 2 of 2

Where, then, is the boasting? It is excluded. Because of what law? The law that requires works? No, because of the law that requires faith. For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.

For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law
Romans 3:20-21  Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God's sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin. But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.
Acts 13:39  Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin, a justification you were not able to obtain under the law of Moses.
Galatians 2:15-16  "We who are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified."
Galatians 3:11  Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because "the righteous will live by faith." (Habakkuk 2:4)
Ephesians 2:8-9  For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God--not by works, so that no one can boast.
James 2:20  You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?
James 2:24  You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
James 2:26  As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.
