John 8:29-30

"The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him." Even as he spoke, many believed in him.

The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone 
John 8:16  "But if I do judge, my decisions are true, because I am not alone. I stand with the Father, who sent me."
John 16:32  "A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me."

for I always do what pleases him 
Isaiah 50:5  The Sovereign LORD has opened my ears; I have not been rebellious, I have not turned away.
John 4:34  "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work."
John 5:30  "By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me."
John 6:37-39  "All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me. And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up on the last day."

Even as he spoke, many believed in him 
John 7:31  Still many in the crowd believed in him. They said, "When the Messiah comes will he perform more signs than this man?"
John 11:45  Therefore many of the Jews who had come to visit Mary, and had seen what Jesus did, believed in him.
