John 8:1-5

... but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group and said to Jesus, "Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?"

but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives 
Matthew 21:1  As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, ...
Matthew 24:3  As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
Matthew 26:30  When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. (also Mark 14:26)
Luke 19:37  When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen: ...

and he sat down to teach them 
John 8:20  He spoke these words while teaching in the temple courts near the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized him, because his hour had not yet come.
Matthew 26:55  In that hour Jesus said to the crowd, "Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me."

In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women 
Leviticus 20:10  " 'If a man commits adultery with another man's wife--with the wife of his neighbor--both the adulterer and the adulteress are to be put to death.' "
Deuteronomy 22:22  If a man is found sleeping with another man's wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel.
