Psalm 79:1 Part 2 of 3

O God, the nations have invaded your inheritance; they have defiled your holy temple, they have reduced Jerusalem to rubble.  

O God, the nations have invaded your inheritance 
1 Kings 8:53  "For you singled them out from all the nations of the world to be your own inheritance, just as you declared through your servant Moses when you, Sovereign LORD, brought out ancestors out of Egypt." 
Psalm 28:9  Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd and carry them forever.
Psalm 33:12  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.
Psalm 74:2  Remember the nation you purchased long ago, the people of your inheritance, whom you redeemed--Mount Zion, where you dwelt.
Psalm 94:14  For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance.
Psalm 106:4-5  Remember me, LORD, when you show favor to your people, come to my aid when you save them, that I may enjoy the prosperity of your chosen ones, that I may share in the joy of your nation and join your inheritance in giving praise. 
Psalm 106:40-41  Therefore the LORD was angry with his people and abhorred his inheritance. He gave them into the hands of the nations, and their foes ruled over them.
Isaiah 19:25  The LORD Almighty will bless them, saying, "Blessed be Egypt my people, Assyria my handiwork, and Israel my inheritance."
Isaiah 63:17  Why, LORD, do you make us wander from your ways and harden our hearts so we do not revere you? Return for the sake of your servants, the tribes that are your inheritance.
Jeremiah 10:16  He who is the Portion of Jacob is not like these (idols), for he is the Maker of all things, including Israel, the people of his inheritance--the LORD Almighty is his name.
Micah 7:18  Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy.
Zechariah 2:12  The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem.
