Colossians 2:13-15 Part 2 of 2

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

1 Peter 2:24  "He himself bore our sins" in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; "by his wounds you have been healed." 
Isaiah 53:5  But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
Isaiah 53:11  After he has suffered, he will see the light of life and be satisfied; by his knowledge my righteous servant will justify many, and he will bear their iniquities.
Hebrews 9:26b-28  But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself. Just as people are destined to die, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sins, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.  

And having disarmed the powers and authorities 
Colossians 2:10b  He is the head over every power and authority.
Ephesians 6:12  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Matthew 12:29  "Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house."

John 12:31  "Now is the time for judgment on this world; now the prince of this world will be driven out."
Romans 16:20  The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.
