Psalm 18:39-40

You armed me with strength for battle; you humbled my adversaries before me. You made my enemies turn their backs in flight, and I destroyed my foes. 

You armed me with strength for battle 
Psalm 18:32  It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
Isaiah 45:5-6  "I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting people may know there is none besides me. I am the LORD, and there is no other."
Isaiah 45:24  "They will say of me, 'In the LORD alone are deliverance and strength.' " All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame.

you humbled my adversaries before me 
Psalm 18:47-48  He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from a violent man you rescued me.
Psalm 47:3  He subdued nations under us, peoples under our feet.
Psalm 144:2  He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield, in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me.

You made my enemies turn their backs in flight 
Joshua 7:10-12  The LORD said to Joshua, "Stand up! What are you doing down on your face? Israel has sinned; they have violated my covenant, which I commanded them to keep. They have taken some of the devoted things; they have stolen, they have lied, they have put them with their own possessions. That is why the Israelites cannot stand against their enemies; they turn their backs and run because they have been made liable to destruction. I will not be with you anymore, unless you destroy whatever among you is devoted to destruction."

and I destroyed my foes 
Psalm 18:37  I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back till they were destroyed.
