Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my
presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your
salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to
will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
James 2:18 But someone will say, "You have faith; I have deeds." Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.
James 2:20 You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?
James 2:22 You see that his (Abraham's) faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.
