LIGHT Matthew 5:14-16

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

You are the light of the world
Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light ...
1 Thessalonians 5:5 You are all sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
1 John 1:7 But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.

Instead they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house
Mark 4:21 He said to them, "Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don't you put it on its stand?"
Luke 8:16 "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, he puts it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light."
Luke 11:33 "No one lights a lamp and puts it in a place where it will be hidden, or under a bowl. Instead he puts it on its stand, so that those who come in may see the light."

In the same way, let your light shine before men
1 Corinthians 10:31 So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
Philippians 1:9-11 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God.

that they may see your good deeds
Titus 2:14 ... who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.

and praise your Father in heaven
Matthew 9:8 When the crowd saw this, they were filled with awe; and they praised God, who had given such authority to men.
