This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of those who reject the truth.

Titus 2:2 Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled and sound in faith, in love and in endurance.
and pay no attention to Jewish myths
1 Timothy 1:4 ... nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies.

Colossians 2:22 These are all destined to perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings.
of those who reject the truth
2 Timothy 4:4 They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.
