Titus 1:1-4 Part 2

Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God's elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness--a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time, and at his appointed season he brought his word to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior, To Titus, my true son in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.

and at his appointed season
1 Timothy 2:6 ... who gave himself as a ransom for all men--the testimony given in its proper time.
1 Timothy 6:15 ... which God will bring about in his own time--God the blessed and only Ruler, the King of kings and Lord of lords, ...

he brought his word to light
2 Timothy 1:10 ... but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

through the preaching entrusted to me
