John 21:15-17

When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?"  "Yes, Lord," he said, "you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" He answered, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep."

Yes, Lord, you know that I love you
Matthew 26:33-35  Peter replied, "Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will."  "Truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times." but Peter declared, "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you." And all the other disciples said the same.
John 13:37-38  Peter asked, "Lord, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you." Then Jesus answered, "Will you really lay down your life for me? Very truly I tell you, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times!"

Jesus said, "Feed my lambs."
Luke 12:32  "Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom."

Jesus said, "Take care of my sheep."
Matthew 2:6  " 'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.' " (Micah 5:2, 4)
John 10:11  "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep."
Acts 20:28  "Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood."
1 Peter 5:2-3  Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, watching over them--not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.

He said, "Lord, you know all things; ..."
John 16:30  "Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God."
