Revelation 16:8-9

 "And behold, I am coming quickly.

The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch the people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him. 

The fourth angel 
Revelation 8:12  The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

poured out his bowl on the sun 
Revelation 6:12-13  I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to the earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind.

and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire 
Revelation 14:18  Still another angel, who had charge of the fire, came from the altar and called in a loud voice to him who had the sharp sickle, "Take your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the earth's vine, because its grapes are ripe."

They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues 
Revelation 16:11  ... and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done.
Revelation 16:21  From the sky huge hailstones, each weighing about a hundred pounds, fell on people. And they cursed God on account of the plague of hail, because the plague was so terrible.

but they refused to repent 
Revelation 2:21-22  "I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways."

and glorify him 
Revelation 11:13  At that very hour there was a great earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
