Psalm 34:11-14 Part 2 of 2

Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD. Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days, keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies. Turn from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

and your lips from telling lies
Psalm 12:2  Everyone lies to their neighbor; they flatter with their lips but harbor deception in their hearts.
1 Peter 2:21-23  To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. "He committed no sin and no deceit was found in his mouth." (Isaiah 53:9) When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered he made no threats. Instead he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.

Turn from evil and do good
Psalm 37:27  Turn from evil and do good; then you will dwell in the land forever.
Isaiah 1:17  Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
3 John 11  Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

seek peace and pursue it
Romans 14:19  Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.
