1 Kings 5:7 When Hiram heard Solomon's message, he was greatly pleased and said, "Praise be to the LORD today, for he has given David a wise son to rule over this great nation."
Isaiah 42:10 Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the ends of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, you islands, and all who live in them.
Because of the LORD's eternal love for Israel
Deuteronomy 7:8 But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath he swore to your forefathers that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
he has made you king to maintain justice and righteousness
Psalm 11:7 For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face.
Psalm 33:5 The LORD loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.
Psalm 72:2 He will judge your people in righteousness, your afflicted ones with justice.
Psalm 99:4 The King is mighty, he loves justice--you have established equity; in Jacob you have done what is just and right.
Psalm 103:6 The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
