Mark 4:21-25 Part 1 of 4

    Then he said to them, "Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don't you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear."

    "Consider carefully what you hear," he continued. "With the measure you use, it will be measured to you--and even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them." 

 

Then he said to them, "Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don't you put it on its stand?"

Matthew 5:15  "Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house."  (see Matthew 5:4-6)

Luke 8:16  "No one lights a lamp and hides it in a clay jar or puts it under a bed. Instead, they put it on a stand, so that those who come in can see the light."  (see Luke 11:33-36)

1 Corinthians 4:5  Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait until the LORD comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of the heart. At that time each will receive their praise from God.  (see 1 Corinthians 4:1-7)

Hebrews 4:13  Nothing in all creation is hidden from God's sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.  (see all Hebrews 4)

Matthew 10:26  "So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known."  (see Matthew 10:5-42)

Luke 12:2  "There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known."
