Jonah 4:9-11

But God said to Jonah, "Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?"  "It is," he said. "And I'm so angry I wish I were dead." But the LORD said, "You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left--and also many animals?"

Is it right for you to be angry about the plant?
Jonah 4:4  But the LORD replied, "Is it right for you to be angry?"

And should I not have concern
Jonah 3:10  When God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened.
Ezekiel 18:23  "Do I take pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?"
Ezekiel 33:11  "Say to them, 'As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?' "
2 Peter 3:9  The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

for the great city of Nineveh
Jonah 1:2  "Go the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me."
Jonah 3:2  "Go to the great city of Nineveh and proclaim to it the message I give you."
