Jonah 2:7-8

"When my life was ebbing away, I remembered you, LORD, and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple. Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God's love for them."

Psalm 77:10-12  Then I thought, "To this I will appeal: the years when the Most High stretched out his right hand. I will remember the deeds of the LORD; yes I will remember your miracles of long ago. I will consider all your works and meditate on all your mighty deeds."

and my prayer rose to you, to your holy temple 

2 Chronicles 30:27  The priests and the Levites stood to bless the people, and God heard them, for their prayer reached heaven, his holy dwelling place.

Psalm 11:4  The LORD is in his holy temple; the LORD is on his heavenly throne. He observes everyone on earth; his eyes examine them.

Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God's love for them 

Deuteronomy 32:21  "They made me jealous by what is no god and angered me with their worthless idols. I will make them envious by those who are not a people; I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding."

1 Samuel 12:21  "Do not turn away after useless idols. They can do you no good, nor can they rescue you, because they are useless."

2 Kings 17:15  They rejected his decrees and the covenant he had made with their ancestors and the statutes he had warned them to keep. They followed worthless idols and themselves became worthless. They imitated the nations around them although the LORD had ordered them, "Do not do as they do."

Habakkuk 2:18-19  "Of what value is an idol carved by a craftsman? Or an image that teaches lies? For the one who makes it trusts in his own creation; he makes idols that cannot speak. Woe to him who says to wood, 'Come to life!' Or to lifeless stone, 'Wake up!' Can it give guidance? It is covered with gold and silver; there is no breath in it."
