John 19:1-3 Part 2 of 2

Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe and went up to him again and again, saying, "Hail, king of the Jews!" And they slapped him in the face.

Matthew 27:29b  They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. "Hail, king of the Jews!" they said. 
Mark 15:18   And they began to call out to him, "Hail, king of the Jews!"

Then they slapped him in the face 
Matthew 27:30  (At Pilate's palace) They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.
Mark 14:65  (At the high priest's palace) Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, "Prophesy!" And the guards took him and beat him.
Luke 22:63-65  (At the high priest's palace) The men who were guarding Jesus began mocking and beating him. They blindfolded him and demanded, "Prophesy! Who hit you?" and they said many other insulting things to him.
John 18:22  (At the high priest's palace) When Jesus said this, one of the officials nearby slapped him in the face. "Is this the way you answer the high priest?" he demanded.
