John 17:6-8 Part 1 of 2

"I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word. Now they know that everything you have given me comes from you. For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me."

I have revealed you 
John 17:26  " I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them."
John 1:18  No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

to those you gave me out of the world 
John 17:2  "For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him."

For I gave them the words you gave me 
John 17:14  "I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world."
John 14:23-24  Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to my Father who sent me."

They knew with certainty that I came from you 
John 13:3  Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under his power, and that he had come from God and was returning to God.
John 8:42  Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me."
John 16:28  "I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father."
