Psalm 44:2

With your hand you drove out the nations and planted our ancestors; you crushed the peoples and made our ancestors flourish. 

With your hand you drove out the nations 
Joshua 3:9-10  Joshua said to the Israelites, "Come here and listen to the words of the LORD your God. This is how you will know that the living God is among you and that he will certainly drive out before you the Canaanites, Hittites, Hivites, Perizzites, Girgashites, Amorites and Jebusites."

and planted our ancestors 
Exodus 15:17  "You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of your inheritance--the place, LORD, you made for your dwelling, the sanctuary, Lord, your hands established."
Isaiah 60:21  "Then all your people will be righteous and they will possess the land forever. They are the shoot I have planted, the work of my hands, for the display of my splendor."

you crushed the peoples 
Judges 4:23  On that day God subdued Jabin king of Canaan before the Israelites.
2 Chronicles 14:12-13  The LORD struck down the Cushites before Asa and Judah. The Cushites fled, and Asa and his army pursued them as far as Gerar. Such a great number of Cushites fell that they could not recover; they were crushed before the LORD and his forces. The men of Judah carried off a large amount of plunder.

and made our ancestors flourish 
Psalm 80:9  You cleared the ground for it (the vine transplanted from Egypt), and it took root and filled the land.
Jeremiah 32:23  "They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey you or follow your law; they did not do what you commanded them to do. So you brought all this disaster on them."
