Psalm 42:5

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God. 

Why, my soul, are you downcast? 
Psalm 38:6  I am bowed down and brought very low; all day long I go about mourning.
Psalm 77:3  I remembered you, God, and I groaned; I meditated, and my spirit grew faint.
Lamentations 3:19-20  I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me.
Matthew 26:38  Then he said to them, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here and keep watch with me."

Why so disturbed within me? 
Job 20:2  "My troubled thoughts prompt me to answer because I am greatly disturbed."

Put your hope in God 
Psalm 25:5  Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.
Psalm 71:14  As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.

for I will yet praise him 
Psalm 9:1  I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.

my Savior 
Psalm 18:46  The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!

and my God 
Psalm 42:11 and Psalm 43:5  Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
