Psalm 44:17-19 Part 1 of 2

All this came upon us, though we had not forgotten you; we had not been false to your covenant. Our hearts had not turned back; our feet had not strayed from your path. But you crushed us and made us a haunt for jackals; you covered us over with deep darkness. 

All this came upon us, though we had not forgotten you 
Deuteronomy 6:12  ... be careful that you do not forget the LORD, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
Deuteronomy 32:18  You deserted the Rock, who fathered you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.
Psalm 119:16  I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. 
Psalm 119:61  Though the wicked bind me with ropes, I will not forget your law. 
Psalm 119:153  Look on my suffering and deliver me, for I have not forgotten your law.
Psalm 119:176  I have strayed like a lost sheep. Seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.
Proverbs 3:1  My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart, for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.
