TRUTH Daniel 9:13-14 Part 2 of 2

"Just as it is written in the Law of Moses, all this disaster has come on us, yet we have not sought the favor of the LORD our God by turning from our sins and giving attention to your truth. The LORD did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us, for the LORD our God is righteous in everything he does; yet we have not obeyed him."  

The LORD did not hesitate to bring the disaster on us 
Jeremiah 18:7-8  "If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted, torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned."
Jeremiah 44:26-27  "But hear the word of the LORD, all you Jews living in Egypt: 'I swear by my great name,' says the LORD, 'that no one from Judah living anywhere in Egypt will ever again invoke my name or swear, "As surely as the Sovereign LORD lives." For I am watching over them for harm, not for good; the Jews in Egypt will perish by sword and famine until they are all destroyed.' "

for the LORD our God is righteous in everything he does 
Genesis 18:25  "Far be it from you to do such a thing--to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. Far be it from you! Will not the Judge of all the earth do right?"
2 Chronicles 12:6  The leaders of Israel and the king humbled themselves and said, "The LORD is just."
Jeremiah 12:1  You are always righteous, LORD, when I bring a case before you. Yet I would speak to you about your justice: Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease?

yet we have not obeyed him 
Nehemiah 9:33  "In all that has happened to us, you have remained righteous; you have acted faithfully, while we acted wickedly."
Jeremiah 32:23  "They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey you or follow your law; they did not do what you commanded them to do. So you brought all this disaster on them."
Jeremiah 40:3  "And now the LORD has brought it about; he has done just as he said he would. All this happened because you people sinned against the LORD and did not obey him."
