JOY Isaiah 42:11-12

Let the wilderness and its towns raise their voices; let the settlements where Kedar lives rejoice. Let the people of Sela sing for joy; let them shout from the mountaintops. Let them give glory to the LORD and proclaim his praise in the islands.

Let the wilderness and its towns raise their voices

let them shout from the mountaintops

Nahum 1:15  Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, Judah, and fulfill your vows. No more will the wicked invade you; they will be completely destroyed.

Let them give glory to the LORD

Psalm 66:2  Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious.
1 Peter 2:9  But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

in the islands
Isaiah 11:11  In that day the Lord will reach out his hand a second time to reclaim the surviving remnant of his people from Assyria, from Lower Egypt, from Upper Egypt, from Cush, from Elam, from Babylonia, from Hamath and from the islands of the Mediterranean.

NOTE:

In most English translations of the Old Testament, the divine name YHWH (Yahweh) is rendered "LORD" in capital letters to distinguish it from another Hebrew word, Adonai, which is rendered "Lord" in small letters. Whenever the two names stand together they are rendered "Sovereign LORD".
