Mark 6:6b-13 Part 2 of 2

    Then Jesus went around teaching from village to village. Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.
    These were his instructions:  "Take nothing for the journey except a staff--no bread, no bag, no money in your belts. Wear sandals but not an extra shirt. Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town. And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them."
    They went out and preached that people should repent. They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them. 
 
"And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them."
Matthew 10:14-15  "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town."  (see Matthew 10:5-16)
Luke 9:5  "If people do not welcome you, leave their town and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them."  (see Luke 9:3-5)
Acts 13:51  So they shook the dust off their feet as a warning to them and went to Iconium.  (see all Acts 13)
Acts 18:6  But when they opposed Paul and became abusive, he shook out his clothes in protest and said to them, "Your blood be on your own heads! I am innocent of it. From now on I will go to the Gentiles."  (see Acts 18:1-17)

Luke 9:6  So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.
James 5:14  Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.  (see James 5:13-20)
