John 2:23-25

Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person. 

Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival 
John 2:13  When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

many people saw the signs he was performing 
John 2:11  What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

and believed in his name 
John 3:14-15  "Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life."

He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person 
Deuteronomy 31:21  "And when many disasters and calamities come on them, this song will testify against them, because it will not be forgotten by their descendants. I know what they are disposed to do, even before I bring them into the land I promised them on oath."
1 Kings 8:39  "... then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive and act; deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know their hearts (for you alone know every human heart), ..."
Matthew 9:4  Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said, "Why do you entertain evil thoughts in your hearts?"
John 6:64  "Yet there are some of you who do not believe." For Jesus had known from the beginning which of them did not believe and who would betray him.
