John 1:32-34 Part 2 of 2

Then John gave this testimony: "I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, 'The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.' I have seen and I testify that this is God's Chosen One."

John 1:49  Then Nathanael declared, "Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel." 
Isaiah 42:1  "Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations." 
Luke 9:35  A voice came from the cloud, saying, "This is my Son, whom I have chosen; listen to  him."
Luke 23:35  The people stood watching, and the rulers even sneered at him. They said, "He saved others; let him save himself if he is God's Messiah, the Chosen One."
1 Peter 2:4-6  As you come to him, the living Stone--rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him--you also like living stones are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame." (Isaiah 28:16)
