The next day
Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him,
"Follow me." Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of
Bethsaida. Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one
Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also
wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph." "Nazareth! Can anything
good come from there?" Nathanael asked. "Come and see," said Philip.
he said to him, "Follow me."
Matthew 4:19 "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will send you out to fish for people."
Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida
Matthew 11:21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes."
We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote
Luke 24:25-27 He said to them, "How foolish you are, and how slow to believe all that the prophets have spoken! Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?" And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?
John 7:41-42 Others said, "He is the Messiah." Still others asked, "How can the Messiah come from Galilee? Does not Scripture say that the Messiah will come from David's descendants and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?"
John 7:52 They replied, "Are you from Galilee, too? Look into it, and you will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee."
