1 Timothy 1:12-14 Part 1 of 2

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength, that he has considered me trustworthy, appointing me to his service. Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief. The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. 

I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has given me strength 
Philippians 4:13  I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
2 Corinthians 12:9  But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 
Ephesians 3:16-17a  I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith.
Colossians 1:11  ... being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, ...
2 Timothy 4:17  But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth.

Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man 
Acts 8:3  But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison. 
Acts 9:1-2  Meanwhile, Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples. He went to the high priest and asked him for letters to the synagogues in Damascus, so that if he found any there who belonged to the Way, whether men or women, he might take them as prisoners to Jerusalem.
