TRUST Jeremiah 39:18

" 'I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD.' " 

I will save you 
1 Samuel 17:47  "All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD's and he will give all of you into our hands."
Acts 16:31  They replied "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household."

you will not fall by the sword 
Job 5:20  "In famine he will deliver you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword."

but will escape with your life 
Jeremiah 21:8-10  "Furthermore, tell the people, 'This is what the LORD says: See, I am setting before you the way of life and the way of death. Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague. but whoever goes out and surrenders to the Babylonians who are besieging you will live; they will escape with their lives. I have determined to do this city harm and not good, declares the LORD. It will be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will destroy it with fire.' "
Jeremiah 38:2  "This is what the LORD says: 'Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague, but whoever goes over to the Babylonians will live. They will escape with their lives; they will live.' "

because you trust in me, declares the LORD 
Jeremiah 17:7  "Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him."
Romans 10:11  As Scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame." (Isaiah 28:16)
Romans 9:33  As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame." (Isaiah 8:14)
