TRUST Jeremiah 28:15-16

Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, "Listen, Hananiah! The LORD has not sent you, yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies. Therefore this is what the LORD says: 'I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. This very year you are going to die, because you have preached rebellion against the LORD.' " 

The LORD has not sent you 
Jeremiah 29:31-32  "Send this message to all the exiles: 'This is what the LORD says about Shemaiah the Nehelamite: Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, even though I did not send him, and has persuaded you to trust in lies, this is what the LORD says: I will surely punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his descendants. He will have no one left among this people, nor will he see the good things I will do for my people, declares the LORD, because he has preached rebellion against me.' "

yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies 
Jeremiah 7:4  " 'Do not trust in deceptive words and say, "This is the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD, the temple of the LORD." ' "
Jeremiah 20:6  " 'And you, Pashur, and all who live in your house will go into exile to Babylon. There you will die and be buried, you and all your friends to whom you have prophesied lies.' "
Jeremiah 29:21  This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says about Ahab son of Kolaiah and Zedekiah son of Maaseiah, who are prophesying lies to you in my name: "I will deliver them into the hands Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will put them to death before your very eyes."
Lamentations 2:14  The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The prophesies they gave you were false and misleading.
Ezekiel 13:6  " 'Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. Even though the LORD has not sent them, they say, "The LORD declares," and expect him to fulfill their words.' "

I am about to remove you from the face of the earth 
Genesis 7:4  "Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made."

This very year you are going to die 
Deuteronomy 18:20  "But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded,or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death."
Zechariah 13:3  "And if anyone still prophesies, their father and mother, to whom they were born, will say to them, 'You must die, because you have told lies in the LORD's name.' Then their own parents will stab the one who prophesies.

because you have preached rebellion against the LORD 
Deuteronomy 13:5  That prophet or dreamer must be put to death for inciting rebellion against the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. That prophet or dreamer tried to turn you away from the way the LORD your God commanded you to follow. You must purge the evil from among you.
