PRAY Psalm 5:1-3 Part 2 of 3

Listen to my words, LORD, consider my lament. Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.  

Hear my cry for help 
Job 19:7  "Though I cry, 'Violence!' I get no response; though I cry for help, there is no justice."
Job 24:12  "The groans of the dying rise from the city, and the souls of the wounded cry out for help. But God charges no one with wrongdoing."
Job 36:5  "God is mighty, but despises no one; he is mighty, and firm in his purpose."

my King and my God 
Psalm 44:4  You are my King and my God, who decrees victories for Jacob.
Psalm 68:24  Your procession, God, has come into view, the procession of my God and King into the sanctuary.
Psalm 84:3  Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young--a place near your altar, LORD Almighty, my King and my God.

In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice 
Isaiah 28:19  "As often as it comes it will carry you away; morning after morning, by day and by night, it will sweep through. The understanding of this message will bring sheer terror."
Isaiah 50:4  The Sovereign LORD has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.
Jeremiah 21:12  " 'This is what the LORD says to you, house of David: Administer justice every morning; rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed, or my wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done--burn with no one to quench it.' "
Ezekiel 46:13  " 'Every day you are to provide a year-old lamb without defect for a burnt offering to the LORD; morning by morning you shall provide it.' "
Zephaniah 3:5  The LORD within her (Jerusalem) is righteous; he does no wrong. Morning by morning he dispenses his justice, and every new day he does not fail, yet the unrighteous know no shame.
