PRAY Jeremiah 29:11-13 Part 1 of 2

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." 

For I know the plans I have for you 
Psalm 40:5  Many, LORD my God, are the wonders you have done, the things you planned for us. None can compare with you; were I to speak and tell of your deeds, they would be too many to declare.

plans to prosper you and not to harm you 
Isaiah 55:12  "You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands."

plans to give you hope and a future 
Job 8:7  "Your beginnings will seem humble, so prosperous will your future be."
Zechariah 8:14-15  This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Just as I had determined to bring disaster on you and showed no pity when your ancestors angered me," says the LORD Almighty, "so now I have determined to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid."

Then you will call on me 
Hosea 2:23  "I will plant her for myself in the land; I will show my love to the one I called 'Not my loved one.' (Lo-Ruhamah, Hosea 1:6) I will say to those called 'Not my people,' (Lo-Ammi, Hosea 1:9) 'You are my people'; and they will say, 'You are my God.' "
Zephaniah 3:12  "But I will leave within you the meek and humble. The remnant of Israel will trust in the name of the LORD."
Zechariah 13:9  "This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, 'They are my people,' and they will say, 'The LORD is our God.' "

and come and pray to me 
1 Kings 8:30  "Hear the supplication of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place. Hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and when you hear, forgive."

and I will listen to you 
Psalm 145:19  He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them.
Isaiah 55:6  Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.
