Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
Matthew 22:34-40 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' (Deuteronomy 6:5) This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' (Leviticus 19:18) All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
John 14:15 "If you love me, keep my commands."
Colossians 3:14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
James 2:8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, "Love your neighbor as yourself," you are doing right.
1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
1 John 5:3-4 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
