Mark 14:27-31 Part 1 of 2

    "You will all fall away," Jesus told them, "for it is written:
    " 'I will strike the shepherd,
    and the sheep will be scattered.'  (Zechariah 13:7)
But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."
    Peter declared, "Even if all fall away, I will not."
    "Truly I tell you, "Jesus answered, "today--yes, tonight--before the rooster crows twice you yourself will disown me three times."
    But Peter insisted emphatically, "Even if I have to die with you, I will never disown you." And all the others said the same.

"You will all fall away," Jesus told them, "for it is written: 'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.' "
Matthew 26:31
    Then Jesus told them, "This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written:
    " 'I will strike the shepherd
    and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.' "
Isaiah 40:10-11
See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power,
    and he rules with a mighty arm.
See, his reward is with him,
    and his recompense accompanies him.
He tends his flock like a shepherd:
    He gathers the lambs in his arms
and carries them close to his heart;
    he gently leads those that have young.  (see all Isaiah 40)
Isaiah 53:6
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
    each of us has turned to our own way;
and the LORD has laid on him
    the iniquity of us all.  (see all Isaiah 53)

"But after I have risen, I will go ahead of you into Galilee."
Mark 16:6-7
    "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "  (see Mark 16:1-8)
Matthew 28:6-7
"He is not here; he has risen just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There  you will see him.' Now I have told you."
(see Matthew 28:1-10)
Luke 24:6-7
"He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: 'The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.' "  (see Luke 24:1-12)
