Mark 8:34-9:1 Part 3 of 3

    Then he called the crowd to him along with his disciples and said: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it. What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels."

    And he said to them, "Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power." 

 

"If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels."

Matthew 16:27

"For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father's glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what they have done."

Luke 9:26  

"Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels."

Matthew 24:30  

    "Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory."  (see all Matthew 24)

    "When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne."
