Romans 6:1-2 Part 2 of 2

What shall we say then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?

We are those who have died to sin
Romans 6:6  For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body ruled by sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin--...
Romans 6:10-11  The death he (Christ Jesus) died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
Romans 6:18  You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
Romans 6:22  But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
Romans 8:1-2  Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.
Romans 8:13  For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
Colossians 3:2-3  Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
Colossians 3:5-6  Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these the wrath of God is coming.
1 Peter 2:24  "He himself bore our sins: (Isaiah 53:4) in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness;" by his wounds you have been healed." (Isaiah 53:5)
