2 Timothy 1:11-12 Part 1 of 2

And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher. That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day. 

And of this gospel 
2 Timothy 1:8  So do not be shamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. Rather join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God.
1 Corinthians 15:3-5  For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, and then to the twelve.

I was appointed 
Acts 9:15-16  But the Lord said to Ananias, "Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel. I will show him how much he must suffer for my name."

a herald and an apostle and a teacher 
1 Timothy 2:7  And for this purpose I was appointed a herald and an apostle--I am telling the truth, I am not lying--and a true and faithful teacher of the Gentiles.
