Psalm 49:18-20

Though while they live they count themselves blessed--the people praise you when you prosper--they will join those who have gone before them, who will never again see the light of life. People who have wealth but lack understanding are like the beasts that perish.

Though while they live they count themselves blessed 
Psalm 10:6  He says to himself, "Nothing will ever shake me." He swears, "No one will ever do me harm."
Luke 12:19  " 'And I'll say to myself, "You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry." ' "

they will join those who have gone before them 
Genesis 15:15  "You (Abram), however, will go to your ancestors in peace and be buried at a good old age."

Job 33:29-30  "God does all these things to a person--twice, even three times--to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them."

People who have wealth but lack understanding 
Proverbs 16:11  How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!

are like the beasts that perish 
Psalm 49:12  People, despite their wealth, do not endure; they are like the beasts that perish.
