Psalm 18:16-17

He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.

He drew me out of deep waters 
Exodus 15:5  "The deep waters have covered them; they sank to the depths like a stone."
Psalm 69:2  I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. I have come into the deep waters; the floods engulf me.
Proverbs 18:4  The words of the mouth are deep waters, but the fountain of wisdom is a rushing stream.
Proverbs 20:5  The purposes of a person's heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.

He rescued me from my powerful enemy 
Psalm 18:47-48  He is the God who avenges me, who subdues nations under me, who saves me from my enemies. You exalted me above my foes; from a violent man you rescued me.
Psalm 38:19  Many have become my enemies without cause; those who hate me without reason are numerous.
Psalm 59:1  Deliver me from my enemies, O God; be my fortress against those who are attacking me.
Psalm 143:9  Rescue me from my enemies, LORD, for I hide myself in you.

from my foes, who were too strong for me 
Judges 18:25-26  The Danites answered, "Don't argue with us, or some of the men may get angry and attack you, and you and your family will lose your lives." So the Danites went their way, and Micah, seeing that they were too strong for him, turned around and went back home.
2 Samuel 3:39  "And today, though I (David) am the anointed king, I am weak, and these sons of Zeruiah are too strong for me. May the LORD repay the evildoer according to his evil deeds!"
Psalm 35:10  My whole being will exclaim, "Who is like you, LORD? You rescue the poor from those too strong for them, the poor and needy from those who rob them."
