Psalm 31:23  Love the LORD, all his faithful people! The LORD preserves those who are true to him, but the proud he pays back in full.
Psalm 37:28  For the LORD loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish.
Psalm 50:5  "Gather to me this consecrated people, who made a covenant with me by sacrifice."
Proverbs 2:7-8  He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.

Psalm 25:10  All the ways of the LORD are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant.
Psalm 40:11  Do not withhold your mercy from me, LORD; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.
Psalm 89:24  My faithful love will be with him (David), and through my name his horn (strong one, king) will be exalted.
Psalm 146:6  He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them--he remains faithful forever.

Psalm 18:22-24

Psalm 18:21

For I have kept the ways of the LORD; I am not guilty of turning from my God.

The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.

Psalm 18:18-19

They (my foes) confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.

Psalm 18:14-15

Psalm 18:11-13

He made darkness his covering, his canopy around him--the dark rain clouds of the sky. Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced, with hailstones and bolts of lightning. The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.

The LORD thundered from heaven 
Exodus 9:23-24  Moses stretched out his staff toward the sky, the LORD sent thunder and hail, and lightning flashed down to the ground. So the LORD rained hail on the land of Egypt; hail fell and lightning flashed back and forth. It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.

Psalm 18:8

 Smoke rose from his (God's) nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it.

Proverbs 25:21-22  If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the LORD will reward you.
Romans 12:19-21  Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," (Deuteronomy 32:35) says the Lord. On the contrary: "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." (Proverbs 25:21-22) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

The earth trembled and quaked, the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he (God) was angry.

In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears.

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

Psalm 18:2 Part 1 of 2

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

my fortress 
Psalm 28:8  The LORD is the strength of his people, a fortress of salvation for his anointed one.

Psalm 18:1

I love you, LORD, my strength.

Exodus 15:2  "The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God and I will exalt him."

Psalm 17:15

Psalm 17:13-14

Rise up, LORD, confront them, bring them down; with your sword rescue me from the wicked. By your hand save me from such people, LORD, from those of this world whose reward is in this life. May what you have stored up for the wicked fill their bellies; may their children gorge themselves on it, and may there be leftovers for their little ones.

Psalm 17:10-12

They close up their callous hearts, and their mouths speak with arrogance. They have tracked me down, they now surround me, with eyes alert, to throw me to the ground. They are like a lion hungry for prey, like a fierce lion crouching in cover.

Jeremiah 5:6  Therefore a lion from the forest will attack them (the people of Jerusalem), a wolf from the desert will ravage them, a leopard will lie in wait near their towns to tear to pieces any who venture out, for their rebellion is great and their backslidings many.

Though people have tried to bribe me, I have kept myself from the ways of the violent through what your lips have commanded. My steps have held to your paths; my feet have not stumbled.

Whoever does these things will never be shaken.
