Psalm 8:6-9 Part 1 of 3

You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, all the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You made them rulers 
Genesis 1:28  God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground."

over the works of your hands 
Job 10:3  "Does it please you to oppress me, to spurn the work of your hands, while you smile on the plans of the wicked?"
Psalm 19:1  The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Psalm 102:25  "In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands."
Psalm 145:10  All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you.
Isaiah 26:12  LORD, you establish peace for us; all that we have accomplished you have done for us.
Isaiah 29:23  "When they see among them their children, the work of my hands, they will keep my name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel."

It is I who made the earth and created mankind on it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts."
Hebrews 1:10  He also says, "In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands." (Psalm 102:25)
