Genesis 1:16 God made two great lights--the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars.
1 Corinthians 15:41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

1 Chronicles 29:14 "But who am I (King David), and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you,and we have given you only what comes from your hand."
Psalm 144:3-4 LORD, what are human beings that you care for them, mere mortals that you think of them? They are like a breath; their days are like a fleeting shadow.
