GLORY 2 Corinthians 4:16-17

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

Therefore we do not lose heart
2 Corinthians 4:1  Therefore, since through God's mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.
Psalm 18:45  They all lose heart; they come trembling from their strongholds.

Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly
Romans 7:22  For in my inner being I delight in God's law; ...

we are being renewed day by day
Psalm 103:5  ... who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
Isaiah 40:31  ... but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Colossians 3:9-10  Do not lie to each other, since you have taken off your old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator.

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all
Psalm 30:5  For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Romans 8:18  I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
1 Peter 1:6-7  In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith--of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire--may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.
