MERCY Zechariah 7:8-10

And the word of the LORD came again to Zechariah: "This is what the LORD Almighty said: 'Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.' " 

Administer true justice 
Jeremiah 22:3  " 'This is what the LORD says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.' "
Jeremiah 42:5  Then they said to Jeremiah, "May the LORD be a true and faithful witness against us if we do not act in accordance with everything the LORD your God sends you to tell us."
Zechariah 8:16  "These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts."

show mercy and compassion to one another 
Deuteronomy 22:1  If you see your fellow Israelite's ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to its owner.

Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor
Exodus 22:21-22  "Do not mistreat or oppress a foreigner, for you were foreigners in Egypt. Do not take advantage of the widow or the fatherless." 
Leviticus 25:17  " 'Do not take advantage of each other, but fear your God. I am the LORD your God.' "
Isaiah 1:23  Your rulers are rebels, partners with thieves; they all love bribes and chase after gifts. They do not defend the cause of the fatherless; the widow's case does not come before them.

Do not plot evil against each other 

Job 35:8  "Your wickedness only affects humans like yourself, and your righteousness only other people."
Isaiah 1:17  Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
Ezekiel 45:9  " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You have gone far enough, princes of Israel! Give up your violence and oppression and do what is just and right. Stop dispossessing my people, declares the Sovereign LORD.' "
Micah 6:8  He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
